Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 15 February 2026

These Terms and Conditions apply to all plumbing services provided by Wakeline Plumbing Solutions (“we”, “our”, “us”). By engaging our services or accepting a quotation, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Scope of Services

Wakeline Plumbing Solutions provides plumbing maintenance, repair, and installation services as agreed with the client.

All services will be carried out with due care and skill and in accordance with applicable Australian Standards, South Australian regulations, and the Australian Consumer Law.

Services are limited to the scope outlined in the accepted quotation, work order, or verbal agreement where applicable.

2. Quotes and Estimates

All written quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.

Quotes are prepared based on the information reasonably available at the time of inspection or assessment. Plumbing systems may contain concealed pipework, corrosion, non-compliant installations, structural issues, or other hidden conditions that are not reasonably detectable during initial inspection.

If additional works are required due to unforeseen site conditions, concealed defects, incomplete information, or client-requested changes, these works will be treated as variations and may incur additional charges.

Estimates are indicative only and may vary depending on actual site conditions and labour or material requirements.

3. Variations

Any variation to the agreed scope of work may result in additional charges.

Where reasonably practicable, we will inform the client of any variation and associated costs prior to proceeding. In emergency situations where immediate action is required to prevent damage or ensure safety, we may proceed with necessary works and inform the client as soon as practicable.

4. Access and Site Conditions

The client must provide safe, clear, and reasonable access to the work area.

The client is responsible for ensuring that pets, children, furniture, and personal belongings are kept clear of the work area prior to commencement.

We are not responsible for delays, additional labour, or costs resulting from:

• Unsafe site conditions
• Restricted or obstructed access
• Pre-existing faults or hidden defects
• Structural issues beyond visible plumbing components
• Non-compliant previous installations

Additional charges may apply where access restrictions or site conditions increase the time or complexity of the works.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the work on the same day services are provided, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

For larger projects, deposits and/or progress payments may be required at agreed milestones prior to continuation of works.

We reserve the right to suspend or withhold services if payment terms are not met.

Overdue accounts may incur interest, administrative charges, and debt recovery costs to the extent permitted by law.

Ownership of all supplied materials remains with Wakeline Plumbing Solutions until full payment has been received.

6. Insurance and Licensing

Wakeline Plumbing Solutions maintains current public liability insurance and all required licences to operate in South Australia.

Proof of insurance or licensing may be provided upon reasonable request.

All work is carried out in accordance with applicable Australian Standards and regulatory requirements.

7. Workmanship Warranty

We warrant that our services will be provided with due care and skill in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

Workmanship is guaranteed for a reasonable period appropriate to the nature of the works, provided that:

• The plumbing system has been used appropriately
• No unauthorised alterations or repairs have been carried out
• Damage has not resulted from misuse, neglect, accidental damage, or external causes

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Product and Manufacturer Warranties

Products and materials supplied are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty where applicable.

Manufacturer warranties are separate from workmanship warranties and are governed by the manufacturer’s own terms and conditions.

We are not responsible for manufacturer defects, however we will reasonably assist clients in facilitating warranty claims where possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the supply of services is limited to:

• The re-supply of the services; or
• The reasonable cost of re-supplying the services.

We are not liable for loss or damage resulting from:

• Pre-existing conditions
• Concealed defects
• Structural issues not caused by our negligence
• Non-compliant prior installations
• Indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profits or business interruption

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where such limitation is prohibited under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Cancellations and Rescheduling

If a scheduled service is cancelled without reasonable notice, a call-out fee may apply.

We reserve the right to reschedule services due to weather conditions, safety concerns, supply delays, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

11. Emergency Services

Emergency or after-hours services are subject to availability.

Additional rates may apply for services performed outside standard business hours.

Response times for emergency services cannot be guaranteed and may vary depending on demand and operational capacity.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Australia.

Any disputes arising in connection with our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.
